Pedagogy
The AFA Danse is a dance school in Paris which welcomes children, adolescents and adults wishing to learn classical dance. In this demanding discipline, sustained by a long history, this school prioritises the respect of each person’s physical capabilities and the importance of enjoyment in dance.
We mix french and american dance technique. We teach values and encourages the involvement of each individual in the dancing. This approach incites students to be free from judgement and able to explore movement in their own way. This brings them the confidence to reach beyond themselves.
The members of the team at The AFA Danse have danced on stages internationally. So with attention to the potential of each pupil, they are able to advise those who might aim to dance professionally.
